Bulk Beef Ordering Information
In addition to our retail cuts, we offer bulk beef options as well as a 20 lb Ground Beef Box for $155 (a savings of $1.50 per pound). The ground beef box is available for purchase at any time in-store and does not require preordering or waiting, unlike bulk beef orders.
Bulk Beef Pricing
When purchasing bulk beef from many suppliers, customers are responsible for coordinating with the butcher, paying multiple fees, and handling pickup. We simplify this process by offering a straightforward pricing model.
Our pricing includes processing, vacuum sealing, and standard butcher fees. There are no additional or hidden charges.
We charge a flat rate per pound based on hanging weight, along with a deposit to reserve your portion:
1/8 Beef: $7.75 per pound + $50 deposit
1/4 Beef: $7.50 per pound + $100 deposit
1/2 Beef: $7.25 per pound + $200 deposit
Whole Beef: $7.00 per pound + $300 deposit
Important: The deposit is applied toward your total cost. It is not the final price.
Total Cost Estimate
Final pricing is determined by the actual hanging weight of the animal.
Our cattle typically have a hanging weight between 700–900 pounds, though weights may vary.
A whole beef purchase will total several thousand dollars, depending on the animal’s weight
Smaller portions (1/8, 1/4, 1/2) will be priced proportionally based on weight
Customers will be notified within 2 days of processing with the exact hanging weight and remaining balance due.
Understanding Hanging Weight vs. Take-Home Weight
All bulk beef pricing is based on hanging weight, not the final packaged weight.
The amount of beef you take home (yield) is typically about 60% of the hanging weight due to:
Bone and inedible trim removed during processing
Moisture loss during aging
Cutting and packaging differences
This is why multiplying the take-home pounds by the per-pound price will not match the total cost.
Our pricing structure includes all processing costs upfront, so you will not incur additional per-pound fees later.
Additional Information
Organs and single-animal cuts (such as hanger steak) are included with whole beef purchases only
These items may be added to smaller orders at retail price when available
Bulk beef orders are already discounted and are not eligible for additional promotions
