In addition to retail priced cuts, we also offer bulk orders of beef and a 20lb box of Ground Beef for $145 – a savings of $1.75 per pound. 20lb box of Ground Beef can be purchased at any time in our store and does not have to be preordered or waited on like the bulk beef.
When ordering bulk beef with most places, you have to deal with the butcher yourself, pay a hefty deposit, wait up to 6 weeks, pay multiple fees/rates for just one order, & pick the order up from the butcher yourself! We take the stress out of bulk ordering while still offering the choice you want in ordering a cow! We charge a single flat fee per pound (no extra charge for vacuum seal, kill fee, or other butcher charged fees), $50 deposit and $7.75 for 1/8, $100 deposit and $7.50 for 1/4, $200 deposit and $7.25 for 1/2, & $300 deposit and $7.00 for whole. Every cow varies in weight, but based on the average you can look at the chart below to get an idea of how many pounds of each type of cut you will get. These calculations are based on our last cow we ordered for ourselves, which had a hanging weight of roughly 1000lbs. *Organs and single cow cuts (ex: Hanger Steak) are only available with Whole Beef purchases, but can be added to smaller purchases at retail cost when available. We can not offer any of our discounts on bulk order purchases as they are already heavily discounted.
All totals are estimates and will vary based on the weight of the actual animal. We send animals with hanging weights between 700lbs – 900lbs.
You will be notified within 2 days of the animal going to the butcher with the exact hanging weight and remaining balance due.

THIS SPREADSHEET IS BASED ON A 1,000 POUND HANGING WEIGHT ANIMAL, YOUR ACTUAL WEIGHTS AND COST WILL VARY
You may notice that when you multiply the total pounds by the price per pound, the number is lower than the total bulk price listed on our spreadsheet. That’s because your take-home (or “yield”) weight is typically about 60% of the hanging weight.
This difference accounts for:

Bone and inedible trim lost during the aging and cutting process

Butcher fees and processing costs, which vary by cut and service
We include all of these expenses in one upfront total so you know exactly what your beef will cost — without separate payments or surprise per-pound processing fees later.
